Pace Spotlights Over 40 Works on Paper by Master Artists

Masterpieces by Henri Matisse, Jasper Johns and more.

Pace is teaming up with Acquavella Galleries and Gagosian on a momentous exhibition that will gather over 40 works on paper by renowned artists. Pulled from the distinguished Donald B. Marron Collection, the artworks include sketches and studies alongside paint and pastel pieces.

The works to go on show will feature masterpieces by Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy, and Fernand Léger. Nature studies by Ellsworth Kelly and an standout acrylic from Paul Thek’s final series will be on view as well. Not to mention, contemporary pieces by Mamma Andersson, Leonardo Drew, Damien Hirst, Jasper Johns, and Brice Marden, among others will also be included in the show.

Accompanying the works on paper is a special presentation on Ed Ruscha’s typographic and image-based drawing. A selection of books by the acclaimed pop artist’s works will also be displayed for the first time.

Elsewhere in art, young artists are taking over billboards across London as part of a public project with Tate Collective.
