OALLERY Is Selling a Series of Rare Futura Artworks

Unseen pieces from the Futura Laboratories x HUMAN MADE 2019 collaboration.

In December 2019, Futura Laboratories teamed up with HUMAN MADE and OALLERY on an exclusive T-shirt capsule. The tees featured co-branded graphics inspired by the polar bear structure on the Amsterdam retailer’s third floor.

A quartet of unseen, framed artworks by the iconic artist are now up for grabs. The four original works coincided with the release of the HUMAN MADE x Futura Laboratories collection. Options include: Blue/Pink, Green/Pink, Black/Red, and Black/Pink. All pieces feature the artist’s signature hand style across the net model that the structure is scaled from.

“You may be wondering how OALLERY becomes part of the narrative. Remember that project with the t-shirts in the spray cans? Since neither Futura nor Nigo is planning on slowing down anytime soon, it was only a matter of time before they revisited their friendship with another smashing collaboration, this being Futura’s first with HUMAN MADE,” said OALLERY in a statement about the collaboration at the time.

Check out the framed artworks in the slideshow above and purchase one on OALLERY’s website for € 4235.00 EUR (approx. $4,654 USD).

Elsewhere in art, British artist David Shrigley unveiled a series of “Lockdown Drawings” as part of an online exhibition with Anton Kern Gallery.
