Alexander McQueen's Creators Social Media Series Opens Up to Nature Photography
Submit your images for a chance to be featured.

Alexander McQueen is staying connected to the arts by inviting creatives around the world to partner with the brand this season. In continuing its Creators social media initiative, the brand has now opened up to the series to interpretations of nature, asking photographers to submit their takes on it during this unique time of quarantine.
To honor this week’s launch, Alexander McQueen has shared several images taken by longstanding collaborators of the house and emerging talent alike. Photographer Eddie Wrey of London captured a striking black and white image of bees in Berkshire, U.K., while over in Berlin, Luis Alberto Rodriguez shot a portrait of delicate purple flowers.
Other photographers like Adama Jalloh of London and Alice Schillaci of Milan focused on landscapes featuring lush greenery or sun-kissed fields. Meanwhile, Hanna Moon of South Korea captured a tranquil moment while looking up into the woods in Seoul.
“I’ve always been inspired by nature – it’s a thread which runs through everything we create at McQueen,” said brand creative director Sarah Burton. “The most important thing now is for us to reconnect with nature. These pictures are a reflection of that thought.”
Those who wish to participate can submit their own photography on social media by mentioning @AlexanderMcQueen and tagging #McQueenCreators, #McQueenNature for a chance to be featured.
Elsewhere for the label’s Creators series, it recently enlisted noted artist and Central Saint Martins professor Howard Tangye for a “Silhouettes” theme. It also marked the first time for the brand to incorporate its menswear designs into the competition.
