Kai Drops 24-Hour Exclusive 'Not All Heroes Wear Capes' Print
100% of the proceeds will go towards providing masks to healthcare workers.

American artist Kai has created a new print edition titled Not All Heroes Wear Capes in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The 20 inch by 20 inch print depicts the artist’s signature Imaginary Friend character in different garb to represent a variety of professions. 100% of the proceeds from print sales will be donated to organizations that provide N95 masks to healthcare professionals.
The four-layered serigraph print is inspired by old school comic books, “since these are our heroes,” Kai says. Ranging from janitors and grocery store workers to doctors and healthcare workers, each character is dressed in their role’s appropriate attire and is further distinguished by items like mops, grocery bags, stethoscopes, and construction hats. A colorful graffiti-like print made up of hearts covers the print’s background.
Retailing for $125 USD, Not All Heroes Wear Capes is available to purchase now on Kai Editions’ website for the next 24 hours.
