Stems Gallery Enlists Julien Boudet for '1985' Print Edition
To kick off its new Stems Prints project.

Brussels-based Stems Gallery just launched a new initiative called Stems Prints that will be rolling out exclusive editions by artists worldwide. Made in partnership with Artsy, the platform’s inaugural collaborator is celebrated street style photographer, Julien Boudet.
The French shutterbug’s contribution is a print edition titled 1985. The photographic work shows the backseat of a vintage Porsche filled with stacks of orange Nike boxes. The print measures 70 by 50 centimeters. “1985 is the year I was born, it’s also the same year that car was released. I have a deep connection with Nike in general, it’s been my favorite brand ever since I started caring about how I dress, back when I was 12; and 1985 is also the year when the 1st Air Jordan was launched,” expressed Boudet in a statement.
The print is currently available in an edition of 50 with 15 artist proofs. Each edition will set you back €300 EUR (approx. $328 USD). Contact marion@stemgallery.com for purchase inquiries.
Elsewhere, BBC just launched a Virtual Culture in Quarantine festival.
