Daniel Arsham x Archive Editions ERODED PIKACHU SCULPTURES

Daniel Arsham recently announced the launch of Archive Editions, a new art platform dedicated to selling limited edition artworks and collectibles exclusively in China. The project’s inaugural release is a collaborative edition with Pokémon. Arsham is the first artist to be granted access to the Pokémon archive, having crafted a new ERODED PIKACHU sculpture as the first installment. To be released in an edition of 500 pieces, each work measures 33cm in height and weighs 5.13kg.
Futura x Modernica Furniture Collection

Modernica has just announced over Instagram that it will be dropping a special home furniture collection with artist Futura. The collaboration includes Modernica’s Bentwood Daybed covered in Futura’s recognizable abstract motifs. Each furniture item will be limited to 25-50 pieces and will be available on April 22, 9 a.m. PST on the company’s web store.
Yu Nagaba x Artek Stool 60 Collaboration

Artek has just unveiled its Tokyo store’s first-year anniversary release. Arriving in the form of Alvar Aalto’s coveted Stool 60, the three-legged birch wood stool has been treated with Japanese artist Yu Nagaba‘s illustrations. Slated for an April 24 release, the celebration will also include limited Arktek AMA500 and A201 Pendant Lights. The stool is priced at ¥80,000 JPY ($740 USD) and the lights ¥132,000 ($1,225 USD).
Damien Hirst Butterfly Rainbow Prints

Damien Hirst will soon launch a new limited edition print entitled Butterfly Rainbow with proceeds to benefit Britain’s National Health Service during the current coronavirus pandemic. Butterfly Rainbow was inspired by an original print called In and Out of Love made by Hirst when he was just 26-years-old. Butterfly Rainbow will be printed as a limited edition and will be sold with all proceeds being donated to the NHS.
Robin F. Williams Earth Prayer Prints

In celebration of Earth Day, Pace Prints and Brooklyn-based painter Robin F. Williams have joined forces for a special print edition titled Earth Prayer. Proceeds from the print sale will benefit the Environmental Defense Fund. Created with a rainbow roll and pochoir, Earth Prayer portrays a woman with her hands in prayer emerging from a bed of flowers and looking towards the sky. Earth Prayer will release in an edition of 50.
