canary---yellow Launches Limited 'Teller x Abloh' Photography Book Online

A collaborative effort realized for Virgil Abloh’s ongoing “Figures of Speech” exhibition.

Earlier this March, Virgil Abloh announced that he will bring his monumental “Figures of Speech” retrospective to ICA Boston in July. To celebrate the forthcoming presentation, Abloh’s canary—yellow art store has now released the designer’s Teller x Abloh photography book online. Published in 2019, the collaborative print project was only available to purchase at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago’s gift shop.

The book features a series of images developed by renowned German photographer Juergen Teller in his London studio. A total of 88 pages are featured inside the cardboard-encased tome, showcasing raw portraits of Abloh, past projects alongside intimate captures of the installation process for the first “Figures of Speech” show at MCA Chicago. Moreover, miniature Louis Vuitton figures are included in the book in their unmissable, shock orange exterior.

The book is sold as set with only 300 made (limited to five per household. Head to canary—yellow’s website to purchase one for $525 USD.

In case you missed it, Virgil Abloh submitted an original design for Library Street Collective’s WE RISE coloring sketchbook.
