Steven Harrington Releases 'Our House Is On Fire' Limited Edition Print

Inspired by an original painting on climate change.

Steven Harrington is back with a limited edition, hand-pulled screen print entitled Our House Is On Fire. Measuring 48 by 24 inches tall, the oversized edition was inspired by an original painting of the same name that Harrington first unveiled at the Powerlong Museum in Shanghai, China earlier this year. The painting measures 16 by 8 feet tall and was presented alongside works that raise awareness on climate change.

The vivid and whimsical work portrays the Los Angeles-based artist’s signature Mello character traversing through a psychedelic landscape filled with burning, humanoid palm trees, and flowers. A total of twelve vibrant colors and black ink are featured in the composition. Each House Is On Fire print arrives signed and numbered by the artist alongside a certificate of authenticity. Only 120 prints have been produced for the edition and will never be reproduced. The edition will be available for purchase on Steven Harrington’s website this November 20 at 12 p.m. PST.

This past June, Harrington unveiled his first-ever permanent outdoor sculpture in South Korea. The artist’s Mello character is installed outside of an apartment building called Loft One and stands nearly 14 feet tall. Constructed from aluminum, Mello dons a bright purple and green bow tie, along with his signature white gloves and shoes.
