Ryan Travis Christian Releases 'Bullet Knights' Print Edition With Louis Buhl & Co.
With the artist auctioning off an artist proof edition.

Following his solo exhibition of new works at Galería Javier López & Fer Francés earlier this year, Ryan Travis Christian returns with a new print edition with Louis Buhl & Co. Titled Bullet Knights, the work features the Chicago-born artist’s 1930s-inspired composition portraying a satirical figuration of cartoonish dogs clad in knight armor while brandishing pistols. The piece expands upon Christian’s series of original graphite drawings that explore dark topics such as drugs, fear sex, and politics.
“Impacted by Chicago-style figuration, Christian focuses on the paradoxical relationship between childish cartoons and ominous messages, musing on the technological and material obsolescence of his inspiration,” said Louis Buhl & Co. in a statement.
Each print measures 22 by 30 inches and arrives in a signed and numbered edition of 60. Ryan Travis Christian is currently auctioning off an artist proof edition of the work, visit his Instagram account to learn more.
In other releases, Daniel Arsham is set to release a new Bronze Eroded Jupiter sculpture edition.
