Daniel Arsham Unwraps New 'Bronze Eroded Jupiter' Sculpture Edition

Hand-finished with a custom Tiffany Green patina.

Earlier this year, Daniel Arsham was invited to create works using molds from a 200-year-old French modeling atelier for his “Paris, 3020” exhibition. The historic space houses a slew of molds of masterpieces from Europe’s major institutions including the Musée du Louvre where the original Jupiter of Versailles is part of the permanent collection. The artist will soon release a new sculpture edition entitled Bronze Eroded Jupiter paying homage to the colossal bust of Zeus. The work is made of cast bronze and was hand-finished with a custom Tiffany Green patina.

Limited to 99 pieces, the Bronze Eroded Jupiter arrives in a bespoke Arsham Studio wooden crate. Each edition is outfitted with a pair of embroidered Arsham Studio art handling gloves and a metallic foiled certificate which has been signed and hand-numbered by the artist.

Those interested in purchasing an edition will need to send their PayPal e-mail and preferred shipping address to an e-mail which will be announced on Daniel Arsham’s website on November 13 at 12 p.m. ET. Once received, an invoice alongside instructions will be sent to your email and you will have 15 minutes to fulfill it. The sculpture will only be sold to the first 99 people who have successfully submitted their payments. Inquiries can be sent to info@danielarsham.com.
