Booklyn Releases Limited Edition Art Prints to Support NGOs in Lebanon

All proceeds will go towards providing emergency relief to marginalized communities.

New York-based non-profit organization Booklyn just launched a print sale called Beirut Editions to support NGOs working on the front lines of aid and activism following the deadly explosions in August. All proceeds from the sale of the limited edition art prints will go directly towards providing emergency relief to marginalized communities in need of immediate assistance.

The sale features a diverse range of works by illustrators, artists, designers and photographers. Highlights include Amber Vittoria’s Bound to Bloom two-color risograph that features one of her new minimalist characters inspired by nature, a work titled Lovers by Sophisticating Miyoko Gullbrants that portrays two nude subjects in an nearly abstract composition, as well as a piece titled Have Some Arak by Raphaelle Macaron featuring the artist’s comic-book twist on a liquor advertisement.

All prints are individually numbered with a “Beirut Editions” stamp, and shipped in lay-flat rigid envelopes or boxes. Prices start at $10 USD. Head to Booklyn’s website to purchase one.

Elsewhere in art, founder Adora Mdba discussed her vision for the new ADA / contemporary art gallery in Accra, Ghana.
