Q-Tip Will Showcase His Personal Art Collection at Bonhams New York
Displaying rare works by Richard Prince, Fab 5 Freddy and more.

Q-Tip will soon showcase his personal art collection at Bonhams New York. The A Tribe Called Quest frontman has collected the works of several renowned artists such as Richard Prince, Nina Chanel Abney, and fellow hip-hop icon Fab 5 Freddy. Highlighted works include Abney’s ‘Untitled (FUCKT*E*OP)’ 2014 acrylic on canvas painting and Prince’s ‘Hightimes’ (2018) mixed media painting on canvas.
“It is a privilege to have the opportunity to showcase and recognize some of the most talented artists that have inspired me personally and professionally,” Q-Tip said via press release. “This would not have been possible were it not for Bonhams’ generosity and commitment in sharing my collection to the public. My hope is that this exhibition will encourage visitors to learn something new, be inspired, and discover the brilliance of some of these incredible emerging artists.”
The Bonhams exhibition of Q-Tip’s personal art collection will run through September 20 until October 4. Visit Bonhams’ website to learn more.
Elsewhere in art, Daniel Arsham will display a signature series of eroded artworks at the Mosaic Art Foundation in Istanbul.
