eBay Will Drop New Yoshitomo Nara & tokidoki Pieces Next Month

As part of a month-long series of exclusive art sales.

eBay will be hosting a series of art sales throughout the month of October, partnering with Yoshitomo Nara, Simone Legno of tokidoki, Hank Willis Thomas and Carlos Rolón to offer limited, exclusive artwork from each artist. The online marketplace plans to drop new art pieces each week with a portion of sales benefiting an organization selected by the featured artist.

To kick off the month, Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara, known for his haunting depictions of children, will be selling a new piece titled Marching on a Butterbur Leaf on October 1 on a dedicated eBay webpage. 1,000 editions of the print will be available for $150 USD, each accompanied by a pack of Nara stickers.

Closely following Nara’s sale, Simone Legno of Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand tokidoki will be dropping two pieces on eBay on October 4. The first is 100 editions of a new print titled Chinatown, and the second is 500 editions of a tokidoki Unicorno art object. 100 editions of the print and 500 objects will be available, costing $85 USD and $40 USD respectively. A select few pieces will be available on October 4 at eBay’s New York Comic Con booth, and the remainder will be available to all shoppers over on tokidoki’s eBay seller page.

Rounding out the series are 400 artist-signed ALL LI_ES MATTER pieces by Hank Willis Thomas dropping for $375 USD each on October 15, and 200 editions of mixed-media artist Carlos Rolón’s Gild the Lily (Caribbean Azulejo) print dropping on October 28 for $400 USD apiece.
