Takashi Murakami Teases Monochromatic Versions of Signature 'Kaikai' & 'Kiki' Figures

A most rare makeup.

Not long ago, Takashi Murakami took to Instagram to announce black and white versions of his beloved ‘Kaikai’ and ‘Kiki’ vinyl figures. Namesakes of the artist’s Tokyo gallery, the characters are normally shown together and respectively portray rabbit and mouse hybrids. ‘Kaikai’ conventionally wears a white costume while ‘Kiki’ traditionally adorns a pink ensemble. This new monochromatic release is surely a rare take by the contemporary art savant.

View the figures above and stay tuned for release details. For more collectibles, check out this week’s best art drops.
