Takashi Murakami Will Showcase New Works "From Superflat to Bubblewrap" in Singapore
Taking place at STPI Gallery this July 13.

Following his gargantuan “MURAKAMI vs MURAKAMI” exhibition in Hong Kong, Takashi Murakami is now gearing up to launch an exhibition at STPI Gallery in Singapore. Entitled “From Superflat to Bubblewrap,” the forthcoming presentation will display new original artworks by the studded Japanese artist spanning paintings, sculptures, installations, and themed merchandise at the institute’s gift shop. One of the highlighted pieces to be displayed is Murakami’s ‘This Merciless World’ (2014) acrylic on canvas painting that features his iconic Flowers and Skulls motif in a visually-packed composition.
Coinciding with the exhibition are exclusive artist talks, panel discussions, film screenings, as well as printmaking workshops. “From Superflat to Bubblewrap” will launch aptly on July 13. Visit STPI’s website for further details.
