A Look Inside nana-nana's "AKIRA ART WALL PROJECT" Collaborative Exhibition

Featuring works by Kosuke Kawamura.

nana-nana has provided a closer look at its collaborative exhibition with Akira and Kosuke Kawamura, taking us inside the anime-heavy “AKIRA ART WALL PROJECT” showcase.

After showcasing its collaborative bags and accessories earlier this week, the Tokyo-based brand has now revealed what the collaborative space looks like. The white walls are covered in manga artworks inspired by Akira and also include pieces designed by Kawamura.

nana-nana’s exhibition also displays the capsule of bags. When all six are lined up in the correct order, the colors match the original Akira manga set which is blown up in full-scale on the walls. Take a look at the nana-nana x “AKIRA ART WALL” x Kosuke Kawamura exhibition in the gallery above, and experience it for yourself from July 6 to July 14 between 12 PM and 5 PM, where you will be also able to exclusively purchase all of the limited-edition accessories. Kosuke Kawamura art pieces will also be up for sale, priced between $2,500 USD and $10,000 USD.

In other news, Takashi Murakami will showcase his “From Superflat to Bubblewrap” exhibition in Singapore later this month.
