Artist Matthew Senna to Release Limited Run of Signature Air Jordan Resin Sculptures

Plus, a chance to score his 24k Gold Study edition.

Mixed media artist Matthew Senna is giving fans a chance to get their hands on his signature Air Jordan sculptures. Officially dubbed Study 001, the models are cast in white resin and come packaged in a special box embossed with Senna’s signature.

The sculptures are detailed replicas of the Air Jordan 1, and will be wrapped in a custom-cut foam insert for protection. Additionally, customers that purchase Study 001 will be entered into a raffle for a chance to score the designer’s 24k Gold edition of the piece.

Only 500 styles will be produced, selling for $450 USD each. They will release on Senna’s website beginning Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. EST.

For more news, catch up on artist Brian Jungen’s “Friendship Centre” exhibition in Toronto, which features sculptures and masks constructed out of Air Jordans.
