Daniel Arsham Returns With 'PINK CRACKED BEAR' Sculpture

It’s not complete until you crack it yourself.

Daniel Arsham is returning to his much-loved CRACKED BEAR sculpture with the release of a pink edition, which is only limited to 500 units.

The sculpture is made of fabric, plaster, and pigment which come together to give the sculpture its bobbled appearance. Like its blue counterpart, Arsham encourages the lucky buyers to customize their copy by cracking it further in order to make each bear unique.

Collectors of Arsham’s work can do this by putting on the artist’s signature industrial-strength white art handling gloves and cracking the reinforced plaster layer. PINK CRACKED BEAR comes packaged in a bio-degradable loose-fill cushioning system, and each edition features a holographic number to verify its authenticity.

PINK CRACKED BEAR by Daniel Arsham will be available online. Keep an eye out for the edition’s impending drop.
