Roy Lichtenstein's Iconic Pop Art Memorialized in New 'Impossible Collection' Book

200 pages with 120 illustrations.

The comic strip-inspired paintings of late American Pop Art phenom, Roy Lichtenstein, are being honored in an extensive new volume entitled The Impossible Collection. Published by Assouline, the hand-bound book contains 200 pages and 120 illustrations that examines Lichtenstein’s most memorable artworks as selected by art historian Avis Berman. Highlights include the artist’s Whaam! and Drowning Girl paintings alongside his visual interpretations of famous pieces by Picasso, Matisse, and van Gogh.
