Philip Colbert Brings "Lobster Land" to Whitestone Gallery Hong Kong

A giant float and paintings starring the artist’s lobster persona.

Following his “Hunt Paintings” show in LA’s Saatchi Gallery, London-based artist Philip Colbert now presents his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong’s Whitestone Gallery. Entitled “Lobster Land,” Colbert’s cartoon lobster persona is observed on large- and small-scale paintings alongside vinyl figures and a giant float. The self-proclaimed neo-pop surrealist continues to touch on themes of contemporary digital culture across his latest body of work.

Tour “Lobster Land” above and then visit Whitestone Gallery’s website to learn more. The exhibition is on view until June 28.

In other art news, Banksy recently confirmed his latest stenciled mural of a migrant child in Venice.
