Hebru Brantley Brings The "GREAT DEBATE" to Tokyo's Megumi Ogita Gallery

A total of 12 paintings starring ‘Fly Boy’ and ‘Fly Girl.’

Hebru Brantley recently launched a solo exhibition in Tokyo’s Megumi Ogita Gallery entitled “GREAT DEBATE.” The rising Chicago-based artist presents new original paintings featuring his signature Fly Boy and Fly Girl characters that are set against colorful backdrops. Accompanying the acrylic on canvas works are hand-painted murals across the gallery’s walls and columns. A total of 12 pieces are on display.

“In a time when technology is increasingly leaping, his work will make viewers aware of daily evolution again,” the gallery expressed in regards to the theme of the exhibition.
