Daniel Arsham and RIMOWA are currently selling the 008/500 edition of their vintage suitcase relic at Sotheby’s online auction. The lot consists of the sculpture, a signed drawing of the artwork, a personalized letter from Arsham, and a special sticker set designed by the duo. The auction will conclude on May 13. The piece will release again on May 17 on RIMOWA’s website and stores as well as Daniel Arsham’s website for $2,200 USD each.

Chinese contemporary artist Yue Minjun recently teamed up with AllRightsReserved to produce his first-ever wooden sculpture. Inspired by Karl Marx’s Surplus Value critique, the sculpture features the artist’s signature Laughing Face bust and is currently available in brown and beige options. Moreover, the artwork comes complete with a copper dish affixed to the top of the head. Each wooden collectible is numbered and signed by the artist. The edition size consists of 75 pieces per color.

Following his exit from Palace Skateboards, Blondey McCoy is focusing on creating original artworks while also designing clothes under his own label, Blondey. The multifaceted creative will soon launch a pop-up exhibition entitled “The Loved One “ in Los Angeles, California. The temporary presentation will offer a range of exclusive apparel alongside three artworks entitled Scandal, Face to Face, and The Loved One. Look out for the pop-up exhibition to launch on May 9 and stay tuned for further details.

Celebrated LA-based artist Matt Gondek will soon release his first-ever screenprint edition with Avenue des Arts Hong Kong. Entitled Deconstructed Kakarotto, the artwork measures 20 x 30 inches and portrays Kid Goku from the cult anime series Dragon Ball in a Gondek’s signature deconstructed aesthetic. The piece also boasts 13 colors which has been hand pulled and printed on Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite paper with deckled edges courtesy of POP!NK Editions.

Paris-based Print Them All is set to launch a new lithograph edition featuring original artwork by Niels Shoe Meulman. The Amsterdam artist’s signature “Calligraffiti” motifs are observed on the soon-to-be-released artwork entitled “Unambidextrous Shoe.” Meulman specializes in various mediums spanning paintings, sculptures, murals, and more.
