Swedish House Mafia Will Launch a Film & Photography Exhibition in Stockholm

Chronicling the journey of the EDM supergroup’s death to rebirth.

Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia recently announced that they are launching a special photography and film exhibition at the end of this month entitled “Purgatorium.” The EDM supergroup’s forthcoming presentation will take place at Stockholm’s center for contemporary photography, Fotografiska, from April 30 until May 5.

The exhibition will include 12 photographs and a film created by Alexander Wessely that will be projected on the walls. Altogether, the works will revolve around the themes of life, death, and Christian mysticism.

“Alexander has been able to follow our journey as no-one else could,” said the trio in an official statement. “He sees, hears and interprets everything that we do, visually. His incredibly strong aesthetics are very near to our hearts and mirrors the journey of life almost perfectly.”
