Exclusive Look Inside Nike & Steven Harrington's "Magic Hour" Exhibition

Massive sculptures, collaborative sneakers, and more.

This past Saturday, Steven Harrington and Nike launched their collaborative “Magic Hour” exhibition in Los Angeles, California. The massive presentation featured a slew of diverse paintings, prints, sketches, and sculptures spotlighting Harrington’s signature motifs and a cast of characters from his oeuvre such as the tuxedo-clad Melo the dog and grinning Palm Trees. Another highlight is an outdoor mural located outside of the venue that spans 16 feet wide. Altogether, a total of 50 works are on display.

To further commemorate the event, the Swoosh enlisted the LA-based artist to design three classic pairs such as the Nike Air Force 1, Blazer, and Cortez. All kicks are predominantly adorned in white, embellished with vivid co-branded graphics across their uppers and insoles. Moreover, apparel and accessories also launched at the partnered showcase.
