A Look Inside Mark Whalen's "Ramble Ramble" Exhibition
Presenting totemic sculptures in fluid forms.

This past weekend, Australian artist Mark Whalen kicked off his latest solo exhibition entitled “Ramble Ramble” at Over The Influence in Los Angeles. The presentation features a fresh series of sculptures and wall reliefs that portray Whalen’s bold human-like subjects in fluid forms. The totemic artworks measure in various sizes, with several displayed atop concrete structures inside the gallery space.
“A ramble is a journey with a kind of meta-destination, a route without any particular goal except the adventure of forward motion. For artist Mark Whalen, it’s the perfect analogy for his recent studio practices and arrival at this body of fresh sculptural forms for wall and floor,” said the gallery in a statement.
