KAWS Takes His 'HOLIDAY' Inflatable Sculpture to Something in the Water Festival

A Virginia Beach vacation.

Pharrell William‘s Something in the Water Festival has already brought JAY-Z on stage, and now the Virginia Beach festival has also welcomed KAWS. The artist has installed his HOLIDAY sculpture on the sand for the third and final day of the music fetival. The installation features a massive blow-up version of the iconic KAWS figurine sitting upright on a platform, with the Virginia Beach Pier in the background.

KAWS previously brought his HOLIDAY installation to Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour in March of this year, with the sculpture floating in the water.

In addition to appearances from Virgil Abloh, Travis Scott and Jhené Aiko, the three-day Something in the Water Festival also features talks and film screenings and even a pop-up church service.
