Stanley Kubrick’s Legendary Film Techniques Spotlighted in Major Exhibition

Taking place at London’s Design Museum.

The Design Museum in London will launch a comprehensive exhibition on influential American filmmaker, Stanley Kubrick. From the extreme and disorientating camera angles in The Shining to the excruciatingly slow scenes in 2001: A Space Odyssey, the multi-faceted retrospective will explore Kubrick’s hallmark techniques across his notable films. The presentation will also display rare archival props from his movies alongside projections and interviews that shed light on Kubrick’s deep fascination with the city of London.

“Get an exclusive insight into his mind through rare objects, projections and interviews exploring Kubrick’s special relationship with England and particularly London, as his primary film location and source of inspiration,” stated the museum.

“Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition” will run through April 26 until September 15. Head to the Design Museum’s website to learn more.
