POW! WOW! Hawaii 2019 Gathered over 100 Muralists to Create Striking Street Art

Including graffiti legends Shepard Fairey, CRASH, and more.

Following a long list of appearances in 2018, leading street art and creative festival POW! WOW! returned to Hawaii for its latest showcase.

Featuring over a hundred local and international artists, the latest iteration of the annual Pow! Wow! festival on the island brought together live art installations, concerts, performances, block parties, and a skate event from February 8 to February 17 all in the spirit of engaging “with the broader community in the process and creation of art”. As a global network of artists and creatives, the festival in Hawaii also included an artist talk with Logan Hicks, live mural paintings, a pop-up store and a concert with Eminem at Aloha Stadium. Artists who took part in the event included renowned individuals such as Shepard Fairey, CRASH, Michael Reeder, APEXER, How & Nosm, spidertag, OG Slick and more.
