Tyrrell Winston Exhibits First Solo Show in Paris, "Lines"
NYC trash turned art.

Tyrrell Winston, known mostly for his deflated basketball artworks, is exhibiting his first ever solo show in Paris’ La Cité, titled “Lines.”
The exhibition will feature Winston’s iconic basketballs, alongside other works including cigarettes and repurposed basketball nets. Winston’s work gives what could be trash, amassed from his time spent in New York City, a breath of new life.
In a press release, “Lines” is said to “represent the connections that each of the groups of seemingly disparate objects have to each other, drawing parallels in the absurdity and symbolism between them. The intentional mixture of these elements examine hope and hopelessness, resurrection and regeneration, vitality and recklessness.” “Lines” will be exhibiting from February 13 – March 15, 2019.
