Artist Slumpy Kev Channels Childhood Cartoons for Pop-Up Art Show

‘Courage the Cowardly Dog,’ ‘One Piece’ and more.

NY-based creative @SlumpyKev has attracted masses on social media for his hand-painted creations of 2000s-era cartoon characters. Now, the emerging artist is set to display his life-size sculptures, paintings, as well as repurposed Supreme x NY Post prints featuring beloved characters from Courage the Cowardly Dog; Ed, Edd n Eddy; and Japanese manga characters from One Piece. Accompanying the artworks is a series of hand-painted apparel and accessories ranging from $30 – $3,000 USD.

The pop-up art exhibition will be open to the public at Depop Space LA this February 15. For more unique creations, check out this week’s Best Art Drops.
