MoMA Design Store SoHo Opens Print Pop-Up Featuring Limited-Edition Posters

Over 100 rare artworks will be available for purchase.

The MoMA Design Store in SoHo will soon offer customers the chance to peruse ”The Print Shop,” a curated pop-up featuring over 100 rare and limited-edition posters. Works will include pieces from more than 50 of the artists featured in the Museum of Modern Art‘s own collection, as well as selections pulled from various institutions and events around the world.

The compilation of artworks features acclaimed creators including Frank Stella, Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana. In addition, a curation of designs from New York-bred graphic artist Milton Glaser — ranging from 1967 to 2009 — will be on display, spanning across social awareness campaigns, albums, festival flyers and more. Kayrock Screenprinting will also be on hand at the opening to offer new posters and host a series of live screen printing demonstrations. The Brooklyn-based company will present 20 signed and numbered pieces from their Fresh Prints! Collection, which includes artists such as Chris Johansen, Mary Wagner, and LaRocca. Meanwhile, Simply Framed will be available throughout the duration of the pop-up to provide on-site framing services for both purchased and personal prints.

The Print Shop opens today, February 21 at the MoMA Design Store, SoHo and runs until March 25. There will also be a limited selection online at the MoMA’s website.
