The bricolage master returns with unseen DIY objects.

Salon 94 is among 269 gallerists showcasing new works by its dynamic roster of artists at Art Basel 2019 Miami Beach. The international dealer has equipped its booth (J5) with bricolage sculptures and handmade furniture by Tom Sachs.

The American artist’s retro-futuristic shop chair is now observed in a new olive makeup with exposed pine plywood for good measure. Additionally, an old school Macintosh McAire boombox is also on display. Painted predominantly in white with black detailing, the music device is polished with Sachs’ DIY touches alongside handwritten labeling.
