Steven Harrington linked up with Madlib and Freddie Gibbs of hip-hop duo MADGIBBS to create a special edition art figure. Taking inspiration from Madlib’s Quasimoto character, the sculpture features a number of interchangeable props including Freddie Gibbs’ Zebra mask, sunglasses, and a chain. Harrington worked with Madlib, Keep Cool Records and Jeff Jank (the creator of Quasimoto) to produce the figure that commemorates the MADGIBB’s recent album, Bandana.

Expert Japanese woodworkers Karimoku have joined forces with acclaimed sculptor Haroshi on a new Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK figure. Sized at 400%, the collaborative piece features varying shades of colorful wood grains. These natural materials were repurposed from discarded skateboard decks, an approach that is predominantly observed in Haroshi’s perennial artistic practice.

AllRightsReserved’s MEET PROJECT will soon launch an exhibition of original artworks with accompanying merchandise by talented Japanese artist, Yu Nagaba. Titled “I’M YOUR VENUS,” the Hong Kong presentation will feature Nagaba’s minimalist line drawings of human subjects inspired by hip-hop, fashion, and skate culture. The duo will purvey an 11-inch vinyl figure of the I’M YOUR VENUS sculpture, graphic tees, skate decks, glass mugs, as well as transparent tote bags.

Yoon Hyup and GR Gallery have connected with Unique Board to release high gloss resin editions titled Rain or Shine. The artwork takes inspiration from an original painting by the artist, portraying a palm tree done up in his signature minimalist line and dot aesthetic. The edition stands 10 inches tall and arrives in three various options: white, blue, and black colors. Each variant is limited to 20 units.

Paris-based JRP Editions will soon launch new lithograph editions featuring an original artwork by acclaimed visual artist, Kenny Scharf. The collectible print portrays a flying swarm of Scarf’s psychedelic character in a luminous, galactic atmosphere. The handout lithograph measures roughly 37 by 29 inches and will be available in three unique options. Each lithograph is signed and numbered by Scharf with a stamp of authenticity by the publishing house.
