Simon Lee Gallery to Spotlight Innovative Sculptures in New "Metal" Exhibit

Works by Richard Serra, Bruce Nauman, and more iconic artists.

Simon Lee Gallery‘s London space will soon host an exhibition dedicated to the innovative metal sculptures crafted by seminal artists: Richard Serra, Bruce Nauman, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Carl Andre, Giovanni Anselmo, and Luciano Fabro. Aptly titled “Metal,” the forthcoming presentation will display pieces produced between 1968 and 1990 by the aforesaid creatives. Highlights include Serra’s T with Two (1986), Nauman’s Triangle (1977-1980), and Pistoletto’s Rittratoo sigg.

“The exhibition links together artists working in industrial materials such as aluminum, iron, and steel, who challenge the viewer’s relationship to space through various methods of intervention, proposing unexpected ways of seeing and interacting,” said the gallery in a statement.

Preview select works above and then visit Simon Lee Gallery’s website for more information. “Metal” will be open to the public from January 17 until February 23.
