Ari Marcopoulos' Recent Films Memorialized in Concurrent Exhibitions

Spotlighting stills from three recent films created in the past two years.

Following his portraits inside Dapper Dan’s Harlem book for Gucci, acclaimed artist and photographer Ari Marcopoulos continues to spearhead fascinating projects for the start of the new year. His latest undertaking involves Fergus McCaffrey’s NYC and Tokyo galleries that will launch concurrent exhibitions highlighting the multifaceted artist’s visceral filmography. “Fergus McCaffrey’s exhibitions allow viewers a glimpse into another side of the artist’s practice with three recent films created in the past two years, including The Park (2017-2018), Monogram Hunters (2018), and Upper Big Tracadie (2018),” expressed the institution in a statement.

Preview select stills above and then head over to Fergus McCaffrey’s website to learn more. The Tokyo location will run from January 12 to March 9 while the New York City outpost will be on view from January 24 until February 23.
