teamLab Planets TOKYO to Display Multiple Immersive Installations

Submerge yourself into a sea of light.

Following its Black Waves digital showcase in Paris, teamLab now announces the launch of its two-year-long Planets TOKYO amusement park that is packed with multiple immersive installations across a 10,000 square-meter space.

The first installation entitled The Infinite Crystal Universe is essentially a sprawling field of light that “spreads infinitely in all directions,” said the collective. The other two installments include the huge domed work entitled Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers and a digital water surface called Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People — Infinity.

Get a closer look at all three installations in the video above. teamLab Planets TOKYO will officially launch on July 7.
