A Look Inside Daniel Arsham's NANZUKA & Galerie Perrotin Tokyo Exhibits
Spotlighting “Architecture Anomalies” and “Color Shadows.”

Daniel Arsham recently launched two concurrent exhibitions in Tokyo’s NANZUKA and Galerie Perrotin institutions. The New York City-based artist is currently displaying a series of large-scale sculptural installations for his show at NANZUKA. Expanding on his ongoing concept of “Fictional Archaeology,” Arsham displays cast works consisting of human-like subjects and everyday objects. As for his Perrotin installment, the artist showcases a selection of hand-stitched and dusted sculptures of nostalgic cartoon characters such as Tweety Bird and Pepe Le Pew alongside three-dimensional works of Winnie the Pooh as well as a backpack worn by the artist when he was a child.
View the works in the slideshow above and expect both exhibits to conclude on June 30.
