Entitled ‘Turning World.’

Berlin-based Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota recently created a large-scale installation entitled Turning World for the Masterpiece London fine art fair. Shiota is known for her massive thread installations that aim to explore the relationship between the past and present as well as object and memory. The artist’s latest work, boasting thousands of suspended red threads alongside found suitcases, will be on view at Blain|Southern’s booth (D24) at the fair.

Shiota’s Turning World is one of 160 works by international exhibitors at Masterpiece London that will be on view from June 28 up until July 4.
