Gucci & Frieze Partner on "Second Summer of Love" Video Series

With projects from Wu Tsang, Arthur Jafa, Jeremy Deller & Josh Blaaberg.

Frieze and Gucci have announced a new series of videos inspired by acid house and the so-called “Second Summer of Love” in the late 1980s. The series was announced at Frieze New York with the premiere of a short film by artist Wu Tsang, which is now on display at the new Gucci Wooster space.

Titled INTO A SPACE OF LOVE, Wu Tsang’s film looks at the legacy of house music in New York underground culture. As well as Wu Tsang, other artists recruited for the project include Turner Prize-winner Jeremy Deller, artist and JAY-Z collaborator Arthur Jafa and emerging video artist Josh Blaaberg. You can watch Wu Tsang’s video above, as well as in four daily screenings at Gucci Wooster, with the rest of the films set to drop over the course of the year.
