KAWS Erects Humongous 'BFF' Companion Sculpture in LA

Finding a permanent home in Playa Vista.

There’s no stopping KAWS and his global army of massive Companion sculptures this year. After installing his wooden SMALL LIE piece in Qatar alongside his sitting BFF and OG grey variant in China, a new large-scale sculpture has now found a permanent home in Los Angeles, California. The humongous artwork is a standing, blue BFF Companion located in LA’s Playa Vista neighborhood. The Brooklyn-based artist took to Instagram this past weekend to announce the perennial installation.
