Parra Creates New Paintings & Sculpture for VOLTA NY 2018
Spotlighting the renowned Dutch artist’s minimalist compositions.

Joshua Liner Gallery is preparing a solo booth for Dutch fine artist Parra at the upcoming VOLTA NY 2018 art fair. The presentation will highlight paintings on canvas, gouaches on paper and a one-of-a-kind sculpture titled Diving Sideways. The paintings spotlight the artist’s ubiquitous compositions that are comprised of smooth lines, nude female subjects, scenes of the everyday mundane, and a palette of red, blue, as well as white tones. Moreover, the sculpture is made of fiberglass that stands approximately 85cm tall.
Preview the artworks above and visit the Joshua Liner Gallery booth (C07) from March 7-11 at VOLTA NY’s Pier 90 venue.
This past January, the gallery celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a group show featuring Parra, Geoff McFetridge, and more renowned artists.
