Jeff Koons to Display Monumental Artworks at Art Basel Hong Kong 2018

Stainless steel sculptures and paintings.

The ever-polarizing American artist Jeff Koons is set to display a selection of monumental artworks for David Zwirner during Art Basel Hong Kong 2018. Koons’ iconic stainless steel sculptures, Bluebird Planter (2010-2016) and Swan (Inflatable, 2011-2015), will be presented alongside paintings from his Gazing Ball series. The project spotlights mirrored balls embedded on hand-painted reproductions of old masterpieces, mainly Western European paintings.

View select artworks above and visit the David Zwirner booth (1C20) at Art Basel Hong Kong to check them out in person. The works will be on view from March 29 to 31 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In related news, Jeff Koons recently confessed that he’s a humongous Lil Uzi Vert fan.
