Premier British auction house Phillips is set to launch its first 20th Century & Contemporary Art sale of the year for its New York branch tomorrow. The auction will spotlight both emerging and established artists such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, KAWS, Damien Hirst, Julian Schnabel, and more.
Noteworthy lots include Condo’s Nude Homeless Drinker painting (65 x 72 in.) with an estimated sale of $500,000-$700,000 USD, KAWS’ four-foot Companion in grey for $25,000-$35,000 USD as well as Andy Warhol’s signed Keith Haring Polaroid photograph (4 x 4 in.) for $12,000-$18,000 USD.
