Advent Calendar Day 5: Matt Gondek 'That’s All Folks!' Woodblock Painting
A rare artist proof.
LA-based visual artist Matt Gondek is known for his deconstructed creations of iconic cartoons. One of his more popular characters is his Deconstructed Mouse that was inspired by the famous Walt Disney mascot. Aside from painting on canvas, Gondek also has expertise in creating large-scale murals, sculptures, as well as crafting a range of limited edition vinyl figures.
We’re offering one lucky winner the chance to own an original woodblock painting entitled That’s All Folks! created by Matt Gondek. The hand-embellished artwork measures 20” x 20” and was crafted using Russian birch wood. The initial edition size for this piece was 150 units, but this piece is a rare artist proof. This giveaway is part of this year’s Advent Calendar 2018 installment through our art-dedicated Instagram handle, @hypebeastart, in partnership with Matt Gondek.
The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.
