Here's How to Get KAWS' 'CLEAN SLATE' Companion Collectible
A trio of colorways, in partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
After teasing an image of a CLEAN SLATE Companion earlier this week, KAWS shares an official look and more details on how to procure the collectible. In partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Brooklyn artist will be releasing a trio of 14-inch vinyl figurines in three different colorways: monochromatic gray, brown and all black. The design mirrors that of the large-scale sculpture, which is currently on display at Phillips’ plaza in New York and recently set a record as the highest auction estimate for a work by KAWS.
The Modern also recently acquired a 21-foot-tall version of the CLEAN SLATE in bronze, which will be revealed to the public in conjunction with the collectibles’ launch. The open editions will be available both in-store and online at The Modern starting at 10 a.m. CST on Dec. 9, with a retail price of $480 USD.
