Saint Laurent Announces New Art Project With Daidō Moriyama Exhibit

The first artist to participate in ‘SELF.’

Fresh from tapping Travis Scott to front its Spring/Summer 2019 campaign, Saint Laurent has announced plans for a new art project titled SELF. The project will begin with an exhibition from Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, other artists and filmmakers will then be selected by creative director Anthony Vaccarello to take part in SELF.

In a statement announcing the new art project, Saint Laurent described it as “an artistic commentary on society while emphasizing the core values of Saint Laurent.” The Moriyama exhibition will feature his works shown in a light installation in the Galerie d’Orleans courtyard. The exhibit will run from November 9 until November 11.
