MADSTEEZ Paints Massive Basketball Mural in Historic NYC Park

Another large-scale public artwork under the artist’s belt.

MADSTEEZ continues to take on large-scale murals, especially utilizing basketball courts as his artistic canvasses. The Brooklyn-based artist’s latest endeavor sees his signature vivid composition completely filling up the basketball court at Harlem’s historic St. Nicholas Park in New York City. The project was made in collaboration with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and Mountain Dew.

Get a behind-the-scenes look of MADSTEEZ’s process in painting the basketball court in the slideshow above.
