A Look Inside Gucci's "The Artist Is Present" Exhibition At Shanghai's Yuz Museum

Spotlighting works by 30 international artists.

Curated by Maurizio Catalan, Gucci’s “The Artist Is Present” exhibition is now on view at the Yuz Museum in Shanghai. In recent months the anticipated presentation was teased with a series of ArtWalls in Milan, New York, London, and Hong Kong. The fashion label enlisted a total of 30 artists from China alongside leading creatives across the globe with works that touch upon themes of originality, appropriation, intention, and expression, The name of the show takes inspiration from Marina Abramović’s standout 2010 performance piece at the MoMA in New York City.
