Banksy's New Anti-Weapons Artwork Will Auction for Only $13 USD
Titled, ‘Civilian Drone Strike.’

After having recently opened up an official gift shop for his Walled Off Hotel, Banksy returns with a new artwork titled Civilian Drone Strike. The piece is a framed illustration of a girl and her dog watching a house explode. Additionally, cutouts of three drones are observed outside of the frame. The elusive artist created the artwork for this year’s Art the Arms Fair—an event organized by London activists to show their disapproval of weapons sales alongside the world’s largest arms gatherings, the Defense & Security Equipment International, which takes place every two years at the London Docklands.
Other participating artists in the showcase include Darren Cullen who is famously known as the street artist SER, photomontage artist Peter Kennard and feminist activist artists the Guerrilla Girls. Civilian Drone Strike will hit the auction block at the event this Friday with a starting price of just $13 USD. Visit Art the Arms Fair’s website to learn more and let us know your thoughts.
