Wolfgang Tillmans to Launch a Massive Retrospective for Art Basel 2017
The fine-art photographer will showcase over 200 works.

Acclaimed fine-art photographer and Frank Ocean collaborator Wolfgang Tillmans is the subject of a new major retrospective at Fondation Beyeler in Basel, Switzerland. The large-scale exhibition will display over 200 pieces from Tillmans spanning still lifes, abstracts, portraits, xerox manipulations, and light experiments, as well as non-representational works. It’s important to note that the foundation has never had a photography showcase spanning this size. Conclusively, the show was created as part of Art Basel‘s 2017 edition and is an extension of the artist’s major survey at Tate Modern in London, England.
